Art and Science have always coexisted, often indistinguishable from each other, across time and space. With an effort to foster a deeper appreciation for science through a creative lens, a Science Poem Recitation Competition was organised for Classes III and IV on 6th December 2023 by the EVS Department, under the inspiring guidance of our Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, and Supervisor, Ms. Alka Singh. The participants engaged creatively in expressing complex theories of Science through imaginative and eloquent verses. The preliminary round was conducted on 26th November 2023 by the respective EVS teachers.
The Section Supervisor, Ms. Alka Singh, who conceived the idea of the competition, expressed that the competition served as a unique platform for the fusion of Science and Art, and extended a warm welcome to the audience and to the judging panel, which comprised of Ms. Subhashini Manickam, Ms. Rency Mathew and Ms. Infenta Christy.
Through their verses, the young scientists unveiled the marvels of scientific discoveries, theories, and the wonders of the universe. The competition marked the outset of immersing into the depths of scientific knowledge to weave it beautifully into verses that enchant and educate.
The Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, Vice-Principal, Mr. Yashvir Singh, Assistant Vice-Principal, Ms. Indira Sukumaran and the Section Supervisor, Ms. Alka Singh congratulated and appreciated all the participants for their efforts and dedication in making the competition a memorable one.
The event was coordinated by Ms. Ruchika Verma and Ms. Sreesha Raghavan.

Class III

First position - Nivedhitha P S – IV C & Neil Robin – IV D
Second position - Janani Karthik – IV C & Aaradhana Senthil Kumaran – IV E
