Interview WITH
AMAN SAJI
1. Many consider extracurricular activities a waste of time,
how important do you think extracurricular activities are
in shaping a student's profile and future opportunities?
I believe that there must be greater emphasis on
extracurriculars, and they should be presented
in a way that complements academics.
TEXT
I have my reasons for saying this. Firstly,
extracurriculars have helped me improve my
attitude toward life and taught me to be more
realistic about my expectations of others.
For example, in team sports, we encounter all
kinds of players—the selfish ones, the team
players, the caring, selfless ones, and so on.
Observing and interacting with such people
gives me insight into how individuals behave in
real-life situations. This prepares me to handle
unexpected scenarios in other areas of my life.
