3. How did you discover your interests outside

of academics?

I have to give full credit to my mother, who took so much time

out of her ever-busy schedule to enroll me in every activity

imaginable ever since I was young.

Football classes or chess coaching advertised somewhere?

Enrolled. A new badminton court opening? She got me new

rackets to encourage me to play. Debates, elocutions, or

recitations at school? It was all about practice, practice, and

more practice.

At times, I felt like I was doing too much, but she always helped

me push past that mental barrier and encouraged me to give my

best in all my interests outside academics.

Slowly but surely, I fell in love with some hobbies, and I’m

happy to say that I still indulge in them even today.
