COLOURING COMPETITION - CELEBRATING CREATIVITY AND IMAGINATION

To celebrate the vibrant creativity of our youngest learners, Indian School Sohar organized a Colouring Competition for students of Classes I and II on April 30, 2025. The event aimed to boost motor skills, nurture artistic expression, inspire imagination, improve colour recognition and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the visual arts.

With colour pencils in hand and hearts full of enthusiasm, each child transformed their colouring sheets into vibrant masterpieces. The colours they chose told stories of joy, nature, dreams, and innocence—capturing the essence of childhood in every stroke. The event not only highlighted the artistic flair of our young learners but also encouraged them to express themselves confidently and joyfully.

Age-appropriate colouring worksheets were distributed, and students poured their imagination into each piece. Their thoughtful use of colour and original ideas made the event a delightful and inspiring experience for all.

The event was conducted under the guidance and support of Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma, Vice-Principal Mr. Yashvir Singh, Assistant Vice-Principal Ms. Indira Sukumaran, and was coordinated by Ms. Kashifa Anjum, faculty Classes I & II.

The competition was judged by esteemed faculty members: Ms. Tushith Naveen, Ms. Selvi Malaiyathevar, and Mr. Rajesh Kumar.

The following students emerged as winners:

Class I

First Position - Nainika Prajeesh (I B)

Second Position - Yogeshwar Gopalakrishnan (I F)                            

Third Position - Aaradhya Azhakathil Premlal (I B)                         

Class II

First Position - Emna Riza (II E)

Second Position -  Amla Anoop Anthrapper (II H)

Third Position -  Sanjeevini Anbalagan (II D)

The Colouring Competition was a joyful and inspiring experience for all, leaving behind a canvas of memories filled with colours, creativity, and smiles.
