A Sudoku Competition was recently organized by the department of Mathematics for the vibrant students of Class III on October 9, 2024, providing a platform for intellectual engagement and enthusiasm. Sudoku, a widely embraced number puzzle celebrated for its logical and deductive qualities, not only stimulates the cognitive abilities but also heightens the interest in problem-solving. The purpose of the competition was to enhance these skills in students.
The preliminary round, held on October 6, 2024, witnessed the spirited participation of all Class III students. A remarkable number of students demonstrated exceptional skills, and 19 students were qualified for the eagerly awaited final round on October 9, 2024. The final competition was characterized by the unwavering enthusiasm of the students and their genuine enjoyment in the problem-solving process.
Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma, AVP & HoD Mathematics, Mrs. Indira Sukumaran and Section Supervisor, Dr. Alka Singh expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding achievements of the students. They also acknowledged the efforts of the teachers-in-charge, Ms. Padma Kudikala and Ms. Anila Joby, whose guidance played a pivotal role in the success of the event.
