Indian School Sohar observed Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti on 14 April 2026 with great respect and enthusiasm, thus honouring the architect of the Indian Constitution. The assembly highlighted the values of equality, justice and education.
The assembly began a prayer song and The Thought for the Day, followed by a speech on Dr. Ambedkar’s life and contributions. A presentation also emphasized his ideals of social justice and unity.
The Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma, addressed the gathering, encouraging students to follow Dr. Ambedkar’s ideals and contribute positively to the society.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
