World’s Largest Bird Statue
Last month, my family, friends, and I had an epic
adventure at the Jatayu Earth Center in Kerala.
Nestled in Chadayamangalam, this spot blends
mythology with modern attractions. According to
the Ramayana, Jatayu, the giant eagle, was
mortally wounded here while attempting to
rescue Sita from Ravana. The centerpiece is a
colossal sculpture of Jatayu, measuring an
astounding 200 feet long and 70 feet high.
