b) ADOPTING UNFAIR MEANS
If during the course of examination, a student is found indulging in
any of the following, he/she shall be deemed to have used unfair
means at the examinations: -
a. Having in possession papers, books, notes, chits, notebooks or any
other material relevant to the examination.
b. Anything written on writing pads, geometry box, hand or elsewhere.
c. Possession of any electronic gadgets like mobile, smart watches
etc.
d. Contacting or communicating or trying to do so with any student
during the examination, exchange of answer sheets by the students,
writing answers on the question paper etc.
e. Passing signals to others during the examination.
f. Taking away the answer sheets out of the examination room.
g. Breaching examination rules or any direction issued by school from
time to time, in connection with the conduct of EXAMINATIONS.
h. Tearing of any page of the answer book or supplementary answer
book etc.
i. Using or attempting to use any other undesirable method or means
in connection with the examination.
j. Uploading/sharing any examination related material, correct or
wrong, on social media.
k. Providing wrong information on the answer sheet.
ACTION & PENALTY
1. Answer sheet will be taken by the invigilator along with the confiscated
used material.
2. Parents will be intimated to come and meet the Principal.
3. Students involved in the use of unfair means will stay back after the
examination and will go home along with the parents only.
4. A student adopting unfair means in an examination will be
disqualified in that subject. He/she will be awarded zero in that
examination.
5. Student might be disqualified from the examination in that year. (i.e.
His/her examination for that year may be cancelled).
6. In serious cases, the student may permanently be debarred by the
School from taking any school based examination.
