Many students such as myself still struggle to find the
right path for ourselves. Some of us might commit to a
career they might not like because of family or societal
pressure whereas the rest of us might fall into the
category where we choose the highest paying job in
our major. Another category of students fall into the
pressure from family to become a doctor with the sole
reason being their parents and siblings are also
doctors. In the era where skills and talent are profound
for career growth, peer pressure and influence of
others leads to many youngsters making the wrong
choice. This uncertainty, compounded by the quest for
passion and purpose, makes career decisions a
daunting challenge for today's youth.
