RULES OF DISCIPLINE
1. Students are expected to maintain high standard in their general
behaviour and manner of speech. Bad and improper language will
not be accepted.
2. English being the medium of instruction in the school, students are
advised to maintain a suitable level of English. It is compulsory for
the students to speak in English at all times except in classes and
activities of other languages.
3. They should be well-behaved (respectful to their elders), honest,
truthful and are answerable to the school authorities for their conduct
in and outside the school.
4. Students should have deep respect and dedication to their work.
Attentiveness in class and regularity in homework and assignments
are of prime importance.
5. Students should carry their student diaries to school every day,
even on examination days.
6. Personal hygiene and neatness are of utmost importance. Hair must
be neatly groomed, worn short in the case of boys and neatly tied in
the case of girls. Students should cut their nails regularly.
7. School uniform is compulsory at all times. Clothes must be clean
and ironed. Shoes must be polished. [White uniform must be worn
on Tuesdays]. Students who come to school for any purpose
whatsoever should be in the proper school uniform; even if
they don’t have classes on that day. Students in improper uniform
will face disciplinary action.
8. Only small chocolates should be brought and distributed
during the recess for birthday.
9. Students are not allowed to colour their hair, wear fancy contact
lenses, wear low-waist pants, coloured or short socks or short
pinafores. The pinafore should fall one inch below the knee.
10. Students should not wear jewellery such as gold chain, bangles,
wrist bands, friendship bands, finger rings, anklets, costly watches
and long earrings. Girls may wear short earrings (studs). Mobiles
and other electronic gadgets are strictly not allowed. If
confiscated, it will be returned only at the end of the session.
11. Students must realize that the school property belongs to them.
Proper care of school property and things belonging to others is a
mark of a well-bred and responsible student. Student should not
write, carve or scratch on the walls and furniture. Any damage to
school property will not be overlooked. The loss must be made good
by the offender.
12. No collective petition will be entertained. But reasonable and private
ones will be sympathetically attended to.
