My Thoughts
Out of all the subjects taught at school,
Mathematics is my favourite. Do you want to know
why? It’s because in Mathematics, we do not have
to write much as compared to other subjects like
English and Hindi.
Having a special interest in Mathematics, one day
I was wondering, “Why do numbers never end?”.
It is taught to us that numbers are infinite. To
settle my curiosity, I asked my parents, “If the
English alphabet ends at Z and the Hindi alphabet
ends at , then why don’t numbers in maths end
somewhere?”.
My father replied, “Can you count the number of
stars in the sky or the hair on your head?”
I said, “No”.
He replied, “This is the reason why numbers never
end!”
