PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

The Professional Development Programme at Indian School Sohar on March 17, 2024, led by Ms. Sanchita Verma, the Principal, was meticulously organized and aimed at enhancing the competency of teachers in situation analysis through various activities. The program emphasized collaborative learning and skill development through workshops and hands-on projects, reflecting a commitment to fostering a stronger teaching team.

The session began with teachers being divided into groups through a random selection process. Each group was tasked with analyzing different case studies and presenting their solutions through posters, props and role play. This interactive approach encouraged active participation and allowed for the exchange of ideas among teachers.

The guidance and advice of the Principal on each case study added value to the session, providing teachers with practical insights into navigating challenging situations in the institution as most of the situations were based on organizational behaviour.  The inclusion of brainstorming activities further enriched the learning experience, promoting creative thinking and problem-solving skills among educators.

Overall, the Professional Development Program at Indian School Sohar appears to have been highly effective in equipping teachers with valuable tools and strategies to enhance their teaching practices and create a collaborative and inclusive learning environment.

Team 2 comprising of Ms. Pratibha Sharma Ms. Megha Tiwari, Ms. Arti Bokil. Ms. Neetu Sahu, Ms. Manisha, Ms. Kashifa Anjum , Ms. Deepti Sahni was  declared winner and was awarded.
