Indian School Salalah, under the aegis of the Board of Directors of Indian Schools in Oman, in collaboration with the Muscat Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), hosted an online session on Thursday, 18th April 2024 to honour top-performing Commerce students. The session offered valuable insights into pursuing a career in Chartered Accountancy (CA).
Mr. Ali Al Asmi, GM, Investment & Treasury, Directorate within CBO was the Chief Guest of the event. Dr. Sivakumar Manickam Chairman, Board of Directors, Indian Schools in Oman and CA Jim Joseph Itty, Chairman, ICAI were the Guests of Honour.
Two students from Indian School Sohar were honored in the virtual function. Ms. Meghana Jayakumar, Oman topper in commerce stream (CBSE 2024) and Ms. Nidhi Shanbag, (Commerce topper CBSE 2018) for CA certification. Ms. Nidhi addressed the audience and talked about the challenges and opportunities in the context of Chartered Accountancy.
