INTEGRATING SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS WITH NEP 2020
A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO EDUCATION
Indian School Sohar conducted ‘Professional Development Programme’ for the faculty on 10th of August 2024. The inhouse resource persons of the event were Ms. Smitha Mishra, Head of Commerce Department and Ms. Helena Gonsalvez, faculty, Commerce Department.
The workshop aimed at making the teachers aware of the Sustainable Development Goals, promoting the teachers for enhancing skills and learning about various innovate ways to incorporate Sustainable Development Goals into lesson plans and class room activities.
The workshop on the importance of sustainable development goals successfully equipped the teachers with essential knowledge and the drive to contribute meaningfully to a sustainable future. The Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, encouraged the teachers to integrate the SDGs in their lesson plan and teaching to make the class more interactive.
