The Annual Inter-House Chess Tournament at Indian School Sohar was held on August 10th, 2024. This brought the young chess enthusiasts in the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 age categories together. It showcased the strategic prowess and mental agility of students from four houses: Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow. There were separate competitions for boys and girls.
The tournament highlighted not only the decision-making abilities and patience of the players but also their adaptability under pressure. Each match was a testament to the intellectual rigor required to excel in chess. Dressed in their respective House uniforms, the students demonstrated commendable sportsmanship and strategic thinking, making it a memorable and competitive event for everyone involved.
