COLOURING COMPETITION FOR KINDERGARTEN

09-09-2024

Indian School Sohar organized an exciting colouring competition for LKG and UKG students as colouring plays a vital role in nurturing creativity and imagination in children. It not only enhances their artistic expression but also aids in developing essential skills such as the pincer grip and fine motor coordination. Exactly as Paul Gauguin said “colour is a deep and mysterious language of dreams.”

The children participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their artistic talents and exploring new ideas and colour combinations. This event provided a wonderful opportunity for our budding artists to express themselves in a supportive and risk-free environment. The competition was a vibrant and engaging experience for all the participants, fostering a sense of community and creativity.

Ms. Nidha Subin and Ms. Harsha were the teachers in charge of the competition for LKG and UKG respectively. The judges of the competition were Ms. Kashifa Anjum, Ms. Tushitha Naveen and Ms. Selvi Malaiya Thevar.

Overall, the colouring competition was a delightful celebration of creativity and imagination.
