Poetry provides a relaxed and pleasant way for students to practice language skills. It enhances their imagination, concentration and memory. To spread the fragrance of poetry amongst the students, English Poetry / Rhyme Recitation Competition was conducted for the students of LKG and UKG on 11th September 2024, at Indian School Sohar. The main objective of this competition was to build self-confidence and develop oratory skills in the young learners.
The tiny tots enjoyed the beauty of expression, rhythm, action and voice modulation. They mesmerized the judges with their power-packed performances. All the participants were motivated and duly appreciated by the judges for their efforts.
The judges of the competition were Ms. MrudulaV Channa, Ms. Dhiviya T and Ms. Santy Manesh.
The competition was coordinated by Ms. Femi Shajahan and Ms Dipti Baliga.
