Storytelling is an effective technique for engaging young learners in the learning process effectively. It’s a kind of teaching method that can help young learners enhance their knowledge, literacy, imagination, creativity, and critical thinking.
To foster the listening, speaking and reading skills, a storytelling activity was conducted for Class I by Ms. Anita Gupta and the class teachers. The teachers narrated the story of ‘The Little Seed’ while Ms. Anita presented ‘The Fox and the Crow’ through an engaging role play that involved the students.
The teachers used various props and skills to narrate the story in an interesting and fascinating way. The activity was organised for the students with the intent to engage them in the magical world of stories. It was an interactive session which was thoroughly enjoyed by the students.
