LEGENDS DO NOT CHASE DREAMS, LEGENDS JUST HUNT GOALS.
The Global Luminaries Competition was organized for the students of Class I and II on October 6th, 2024. Global Luminaries are the famous personalities who enlighten and influence others.
The event aimed to prepare students to represent their chosen personality, honing their research and information gathering skill, developing their public speaking and presenting abilities, which are essential skills for their future academic and professional development.
Students from all sections of Class I and II participated enthusiastically. Students were dressed in a manner that accurately represented the chosen famous personality.
The Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, addressed the student body, imparting valuable life lessons and emphasizing the significance of knowledge, curiosity and information gathering skills. Her encouraging words were great motivation for the students.
The compere, Ms. Rafat Pathan, introduced the judges for the competition. The competition was judged by Ms. Ziyana, Ms. Shaila Prabhu and Ms. Dhanashri Chandajkar. The competition was judged on the following criteria.
*Authenticity of Costume, Props and Background
*Speech Content
*Time Management
*Accuracy and Relevance
*Engagement and Presentation Skills
The judges were impressed by the students’ confidence and articulation. The students dressed up as different famous personalities performed their piece effectively.
The Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma and Assistant Vice - Principal, Ms. Indira Sukumaran appreciated and applauded the coordinators Ms. Tintu Praful, Ms. Tanuja Santosh Kadam, Ms. Athira and all other teachers for making the event a grand success.
