Indian School Sohar celebrated Eid al – Fitr with great enthusiasm and fanfare. A special assembly was conducted for the classes VI-VIII. All participants were dressed up in beautiful Eid attire. It started with a prayer song and thought for the day followed by news. Dhriti Basu of class VIII F delivered a speech explaining the significance of Eid al-Fitr. The melodious group song presented on the theme of Eid created a serene and joyful ambience. Students of class VIII performed a wonderful skit on etiquettes of the celebration, bringing the day of Eid alive on the stage. Principal Mrs. Sanchita Verma addressed the gathering and congratulated all the participants for their wonderful performance. Thus, a solemn atmosphere was created spreading the message of love, peace and brotherhood.
