KG RED COLOUR DAY

05-05-2024

Colours are beautiful and they fill our lives with vibrancy and happiness. Among the spectrum of colours, red holds a special place close to the heart.

Illuminating the KG wing atmosphere with love, smile, energy and excitement, Indian School Sohar pre-primary section, celebrated “RED COLOUR DAY” on 21st April, 2024. The tiny tots and the teachers looked stunning with the vibrant red attire.

In a dynamic world of preschool education, colour-themed celebrations are a cornerstone of creative learning and the development of cognitive skills. Focusing on the theme, the little learners were engaged in various class activities. LKG students undertook an activity in which they dipped their building blocks in red colour paint and imprinted the design that depicted the red coloured hair of the clown. The little toddlers enjoyed the sensory play. UKG students enthusiastically participated in a craft activity where they stuck the red paper bits on the picture of an apple.

They participated in singing, dancing, games, sorting and classifying objects based on colour, circle time discussion and much more, thereby reinforcing cognitive skills.  The children thoroughly enjoyed their practical learning experience. The classroom bulletin boards were beautifully decorated in red colour theme.

These activities not only infused fun into education but also helped children to understand and appreciate the world around them.

It was a scintillating day with innocent faces gleaming and reflecting love and joy. And needless to say, it was a fantastic and thrilling RED COLOUR DAY.
