Science and Commerce Streams Achieve Outstanding Results.

Indian School Sohar has indeed achieved remarkable success in the Class 12 AISSCE 2023-24 examination!  All the 109 students from both the Science and Commerce streams have passed with extraordinary marks, bringing immense pride to the school. Such achievements reflect the dedication and hard work of both the students and the educators at Indian School Sohar. 

The school has indeed fostered an environment of excellence, and the collaborative efforts under the dynamic leadership of Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma have yielded remarkable achievements. The top scorers are-

Science Stream:

• Aman Saji secured the top spot with an incredible 98%.
• Jeet Hiren Kumar Dekivadia and Hansini Chetan Salian both bagged the second position with an impressive 96.8%.
• Gowri Krishna scored 96.4%, securing the third position.

Commerce Stream:

• Jamie Hitesh Ramaya secured the first position with an outstanding 97.4%.
• John Emmanuel followed closely in the second place with a commendable 96%.
• Aditi Agarwal grabbed the third position with an excellent 94.8%.

 Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma extended her heartfelt congratulations to the students, parents, and teachers and said, “The unwavering dedication and hard work of the school community ensured that the quality of education remained uncompromised. It’s heartwarming to see individual efforts recognized and appreciated.” 

Additionally, Mr. Abraham George, the President of the School Management Committee (SMC), expressed his elation over the outstanding results. He rightly emphasized that the students’ diligence and commitment have paid off, and their success will undoubtedly inspire future batches of students. He congratulated the staff, parents and students.

Many parents and students said, “Indeed, the personalized attention, motivation, and counselling provided by the dedicated teachers   have played a pivotal role in achieving these outstanding results in the XII Board examinations. The implementation of remedial measures, regular assignments, and tests has undoubtedly contributed to the desired outcomes.

Overall, an environment of elation and celebration prevailed in the school. The remarkable achievements of the students have brought immense pride and joy to the entire school community.
