SENIOR INTER-HOUSE SPORTS COMPETITION - 2024

The Senior Inter-House Sports Competition held at Indian School Sohar on May 8^th and 9^th, 2024, was a vibrant showcase of athleticism and teamwork. The enthusiasm displayed by the participants in various sporting events like badminton, basketball, cricket, football, and table tennis was commendable.

The event commenced with an inspiring inauguration by the Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma. Her words of encouragement urged the young athletes to exhibit their best efforts and uphold the values of good sportsmanship throughout the competition. Supporting her sentiments, Vice-Principal Mr. Yashvir Singh and Assistant Vice-Principal Ms. Indira Sukumaran extended their best wishes to all participants, highlighting the pivotal role of sports in shaping character and instilling discipline.

Throughout the competitions, students had the opportunity to showcase their athletic prowess, work collaboratively as teams, and demonstrate a spirit of fair play. The recognition extended by Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma to both the winning and runner-up teams underscored the importance of acknowledging efforts and achievements. Such appreciation serves as a powerful motivator for students to remain engaged in sports and extracurricular activities.
