Indian School Sohar conducted a special interaction session between the outgoing students of Std. XII and the School Management Committee (SMC) on May 24th, 2024. This event was organized to provide students with an opportunity to share their experiences, express their opinions, and convey their gratitude to their Alma Mater.
The atmosphere was electric with enthusiasm as the students met the SMC. The SMC members congratulated the students on their exceptional academic achievements in Std X and XII. Principal presented an overview of the results for Std. X and XII, highlighting the noteworthy performances. Special recognition was given to Aman Saji and Jamie, both of whom secured second positions in their respective streams at the national level in Oman. The President of SMC, Mr. Abraham George, along with Treasurer Mr. Ajay Damani, and members Mr. Ajay Ganti and Dr. Ragini Vaishnav, extended their heartfelt congratulations to the students, Principal, and teachers.
Aman Saji represented the students alongside Hansini Chetan Salian, John Emmanuel, Hannan Omar, Gowri Krishna, and Ratan Jot Kaur. They expressed their deep gratitude to their Alma Mater, the Principal, Vice-Principals, and teachers for their unwavering guidance and support. The students also provided insightful suggestions for future development the school, which the SMC considered and assured to implement where feasible.
The interaction concluded with a high tea, marking a successful and poignant event that emphasized the strong bond between the students, faculty, and the SMC. The continuous excellence demonstrated by the students of Indian School Sohar underscores the effective leadership and dedication of the faculty under guidance of the Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma. The SMC’s commitment to addressing practical challenges and active engagement of the students in the school development initiatives reflect a united effort towards achieving unparalleled success. The interaction session not only celebrated achievements of the students but also reinforced the cooperative spirit that drives the institution forward.
