Show and Tell is a valuable tool for nurturing communication skills and confidence in children, serving as a stepping stone to the art of public speaking.
With this objective in mind, Indian School Sohar organized a Show and Tell competition for class UKG on May 23, 2024. The selection round took place across all sections of UKG, and from each section, five students were chosen to participate in the final competition.
Students were given the freedom to select any topic of their choice for their presentation. The students eagerly awaited their turn to share their descriptive narrations on diverse topics ranging from favorite fruits to environmental conservation which showcased their interests and creativity.
The presentations were met with enthusiastic applause and praise from the judges, who were impressed by their confidence and articulation. The event provided a platform for students to showcase their speaking abilities and to express their thoughts clearly and in organized manner.
Overall, the Show and Tell competition was a resounding success, highlighting the importance of fostering communication skills and confidence in young learners. It served as a memorable experience for both participants and spectators alike, reinforcing the value of self-expression and creativity in education.
