On May 30th, 2024, the English Department of Indian School Sohar organized an English Paragraph Writing Competition for students in classes VI-VIII. Under the guidance of Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma and Head of the English Department Ms. Divya Johari, the competition aimed to encourage creative thinking and enhance writing skills among students.
The students unveiled their writing prowess, eloquently weaving their thoughts and revealing their abilities. The competition, meticulously evaluated for content, structure, creativity, and language finesse, emerged as a resounding success. Young talents flourished, honing their skills and expressing themselves with confidence. Their enthusiasm ignited a literary spark, helping them gain confidence and refine their writing ideas.
The Principal, Vice-Principal, Assistant Vice-Principal, and Head of the English Department extended warm congratulations and heartfelt appreciation to all participants for their impressive performance. Ms. Shyma Muralikrishnan, the event in-charge, along with the dedicated English teachers, received well-deserved commendation for their seamless teamwork in organizing the event.
The competition not only celebrated talented writers but also ignited inspiration among all students, urging them to refine their language proficiency and nurture creative thinking. This memorable event promises lasting benefits for both academic and personal growth. The students engaged in spirited competition, showcasing their high skills and enthusiasm in the Paragraph Writing Competition, buoyed by the guidance and practice provided by their teachers.
