Indian School Sohar successfully organized the Selection Trials and Competition of Badminton & Table Tennis for girls from various Omani schools in the Sohar region. Students from both government and private schools enthusiastically participated in the trials, showcasing their skills in the two sports.
The competition witnessed participation from talented players representing Al-Turif School, Shama Al-Safa School, Safa School and Al-Karamah School. The young athletes demonstrated great enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
The event was efficiently coordinated and supervised by Ms. Fatima and Ms. Noof Ali Alshbli, Sports Activities Specialist, Ministry of Education, Sports Department along with Mr. Humaid Khamis Al Maqbali, Mr. Kamal Gurung, HOD (PE), and the dedicated Physical Education staff of Indian School Sohar. Their efforts ensured the smooth execution of the event.
Principal, Sanchita Verma graced the occasion and awarded medals and trophies to the proud winners, extending her best wishes to all participants for the upcoming Oman Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament, scheduled for April 2025.
Students and teachers thoroughly enjoyed the event, appreciating both the competitive spirit of the participants and the warm hospitality of Indian School Sohar.
