STUDENT ORIENTATION PROGRAMME - VI-VIII (2025-‘26)

A well-structured orientation programme plays a pivotal role in guiding students towards a successful academic path. To ensure a smooth transition into the new academic year, an informative orientation session was held on 8th April 2025, for students of Classes VI to VIII.

Mrs. Indira Sukumaran, the Assistant Vice-Principal, delivered a detailed explanation of the student code of conduct, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a safe, respectful, and disciplined learning environment. She provided an in-depth overview of the evaluation scheme, highlighting its role in academic assessment. Students were introduced to various assessment components covering both scholastic and co-scholastic areas, including examinations, assignments, and participation in extracurricular activities.

Further, the grading system and the criteria required for successful completion of the academic year were clearly explained. The interactive nature of the programme encouraged students to actively engage, ask questions, and gain clarity on important academic processes.

Overall, the orientation programme successfully familiarized students with institutional policies and academic expectations. Through thoughtful planning and effective communication, it laid a strong foundation for a productive and enriching academic year ahead.
