Physical Education Department of Indian School Sohar organized Inter-House Sports and Games Competition on April 28th and 29th, 2025, bringing together students from the Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow houses in a spirited celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The event featured a variety of sports, including badminton, cricket, football, table tennis, and basketball, showcasing not only the physical prowess of the participants but also their dedication to fair play and team spirit.
The opening ceremony was marked by a solemn oath of fair play and commitment, administered by Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma alongside the house captains and all participants. Vice-Principal, Mr. Yashvir Singh and Assistant Vice-Principal, Ms. Indira Sukumaran, offered their best wishes, emphasizing the importance of sports in fostering discipline, resilience, and character development. The event was inaugurated by our respected Principal, who marked the opening of the competition by playing a few impressive badminton shots, setting an energetic tone for the rest of the event.
Students from all houses participated in various sports activities. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as students cheered passionately for the participants of their respective houses, boosting the morale and confidence of the players.
The competition was a vibrant display of friendly rivalry and unity, serving as a testament to the students' enthusiasm and the school's unwavering commitment to holistic education through sports.
