Life, much like Sudoku, requires placing elements in the right order at the right time, and then everything falls into place.
Sudoku helps to keep a student's mind sharp and improve concentration and memory, and even boost them. It helps to improve the ability to solve problems that require logic and reasoning.
The Mathematics Department of Indian School Sohar organized the Sudoku Competition preliminary round on May 1st 2025 for the students of Class III. A remarkable number of students demonstrated exceptional skills and 13 students were qualified for the final round on 8th May 2025.
Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, Assistant Vice Principal & HOD Mathematics, Ms. Indira Sukumaran and Section Supervisor, Dr. Alka Singh expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding achievements of the students.
The event was coordinated by Ms. Sunitha Harikrishnan and Ms. Alice K Thomas, who guided and supported the participants throughout the competition.

First Position - Zaad Zahur (III H)
Second Position - Shreya Kumawat (III B)
Third Position - Bhuvanesh Kumar Vinoth (III A) & Maryam (III C)
