ENGLISH POETRY RECITATION COMPETITION

Recitation is a powerful tool for self-expression and communication. It brings poetry to life through spoken words, conveying emotions, ideas, and meaning to an audience. Effective recitation requires interpretation, creativity, and performance skills. It also enhances memory, concentration, and emotional intelligence.

The young learners of Classes I and II recently showcased their blossoming talents and love for the English language through a delightful Poetry Recitation Competition held on the 4th and 5th of May, 2025. The participants enthusiastically presented a variety of poetries and each child brought their unique flair to the stage, using expressive gestures and clear articulation to bring the verses to life.

The event served as a wonderful platform for the young ones to develop their confidence, enhance public speaking skills, and nurture a deeper appreciation for the rhythm and beauty of English poetry.

The positive and encouraging atmosphere of the event undoubtedly left a lasting impression on the young participants, inspiring them to continue exploring the joys of language. The poem recitation was a resounding success.

The competition was conducted under the guidance of the Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma, Vice-Principal Mr. Yashvir Singh, Asst. Vice-Principal Ms. Indira Sukumaran and coordinated by faculties, Ms. Rency Mathew Class I and Ms. Rashmi Gosain Class II respectively. It was judged by esteemed judges Ms. Musarrat Begum, Ms. Asha U.S and Ms. Heena Ahmed.
