PINK COLOUR DAY

20-05-2025

The colour pink signifies love, compassion, and kindness — qualities that reflect both the innocence of childhood and the warmth of a mother’s love. On 11th May 2025, the Kindergarten section of Indian School Sohar came alive with these sentiments as it joyfully celebrated Pink Colour Day, beautifully clubbed with Mother’s Day.

It was a delightful visual treat to see the little ones dressed in various charming shades of pink, filling the campus with cheer and colour. The celebration was a perfect blend of fun, creativity, and heartfelt emotions.

The Nursery children enthusiastically painted paper plates pink and transformed them into adorable cone ice creams. This activity helped develop their fine motor skills, colour recognition, and creativity through hands-on play.

The LKG students crafted beautiful Mother’s Day cards using finger-printed flowers. Through this, they enhanced their sensory awareness, hand-eye coordination, and artistic expression while learning to show appreciation.

The UKG children made heartfelt cards with little heart cut-outs, expressing special wishes for their mothers in their own words. This activity nurtured their writing abilities and emotional expression while also building language development and gratitude.

The highlight of the day was the excitement and pride in every child's eyes as they crafted handmade tokens of love to surprise their mothers.

It was truly a day filled with love, creativity, and pink-tinted joy!
