Indian School Sohar hosted a special interaction session between the outgoing students of Std XII and the School Management Committee (SMC) On May 17th, 2025. The event was organized to create a platform for students to share their experiences, voice their opinions, and express gratitude towards their Alma Mater.
The members of the committee congratulated the students for their outstanding academic accomplishments in Std X and XII. Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma, commented about the achievements of the students and congratulated them for their hard-earned success and extended her best wishes for the challenging journey ahead. Also, she appreciated Team ISS for their sincere and dedicated efforts. Mr. Yashvir Singh, Vice-Principal, provided an overview of the results for both grades, emphasizing the remarkable performances. Special commendation was awarded to all the toppers. Ananya Behal and Kush Solanki received special appreciation, for achieving commendable success after a setback.
Mr. Abraham George, President of the SMC, along with Treasurer Mr. Ajay Damani and committee member Ms. Vandana Chawla extended their warm congratulations to the students, Principal, and teachers alike. In his address, the President emphasized the remarkable transformation the school has undergone over the past decade. He encouraged students to cherish the values they have been taught, to maintain discipline in their future endeavours, and to forge a deep connection with their cultural heritage as they move forward in life.
The atmosphere was vibrant with excitement as students engaged with the SMC. The student representation included Nitin Kisor, Ananya Behal, Spandana Sureppally, Kush Solanki, Devanshi Tapaniya, P. V. Jitesh, Syed Khaja Naseruddin and Eshita Singh. They articulated their sincere thanks to their Alma Mater, acknowledging the Principal, Vice-Principals, and teachers for their steadfast guidance and support. Furthermore, the students offered valuable suggestions for the future development of the school, which the SMC took into consideration and committed to implementing wherever possible.
The interaction culminated in a delightful high tea, marking a successful and memorable event that highlighted the deep bond shared between the students, faculty and the SMC. The consistent excellence exhibited by the students of Indian School Sohar exemplifies the effective leadership and dedication of the faculty, spearheaded by Principal Mrs. Sanchita Verma. The resolve of the SMC to address practical challenges reflects the commitment to achieving unparalleled success.
