Indian Science Forum (ISF-Oman) conducted the ‘Science Fiesta 2025’ from 23rd to 24th May 2025, at the National University of Science and Technology, Al Hail campus, for all the Indian Schools in Oman. Students from Indian School Sohar participated in various events such as Debate, Digital symposium, Poster Making, Photography, ON-The-Spot Science Project, Exhibition and Igniter Quiz which spanned for two days wherein several competitions were held. The winners of the ISF ‘Sastra Pratibha Contest 2025’ were felicitated by Dr. Monojit Choudhury, Professor, Department of NLP, Mohamed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, Abu Dhabi in the presence of Mr. Rathnakumar, Chairman of ISF and other esteemed personalities.
The students who participated in various competitions received participation certificates, medals and trophies.
The junior category team from our school secured Second Runner-up position in the Poster making contest. The team members are:
Ayshath Sanna- Std. VIII, Anusha Yadav- Std. VII and Shresta K. C.- Std. VI
They were awarded by Dr. Leena Francis, Principal, Indian School Muladha, Mr. Suresh A M, General Secretary of ISF and Latha Sreejith, General Coordinator of ISF.
