Indian School Sohar received high recognition from National Olympiad Foundation (NOF) Junior, the world’s only AI-powered International Olympiad, for its excellent performance during the academic year 2024–25. The Olympiad is aligned with India’s National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and is conducted fully online with participation from over 5,000 schools across 18 countries.
"NOF congratulated the School, Principal, and Coordinator for their exceptional contributions and presented three prestigious awards in recognition of their efforts.
The Best School Award 2024–25 was awarded to Indian School Sohar for its overall outstanding performance in the Olympiad, marked by high student achievement and enthusiastic participation.
The Educator of the Year Award was conferred upon Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma, acknowledging her exemplary academic leadership, dedication, and the unwavering support she received from the teaching staff, all of which played a vital role in the school’s success.
The Best Coordinator Award was presented to Assistant Vice Principal, Mrs. Indira Sukumaran, who also served as the NOF School Coordinator, in appreciation of her meticulous planning and effective coordination of the Olympiad at the school level."
NOF appreciated the efforts of Indian School Sohar and congratulated the entire school community for making the Olympiad a great success. The school looks forward to continuing its journey of academic excellence on international platforms.
