15-10-2025

In alignment with the institution’s commitment to fostering values-based education, the Samarpan Club of Indian School Sohar conducted a special session to introduce its new initiative, ‘Tree of Good Deeds,’ for the students of Classes III to VIII.

The initiative aims to recognize and appreciate students who consistently demonstrate humanitarian values within the school environment. Guided by the mission of the Samarpan Club to instill and nurture empathy, kindness, responsibility, respect, and other core human values. Students were encouraged to reflect on their actions and strengthen their moral and ethical outlook, becoming more compassionate members of the school community.

A motivational introduction was given about the ‘Tree of Good Deeds’—a symbolic representation celebrating students who exhibit exemplary conduct. Each month, one student from every section will be selected by the Life Skills Mentors based on observed behavior and contribution. The names of these students will be proudly displayed on flower-shaped cutouts adorning the ‘Tree of Good Deeds.’

Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma applauded the new initiative, commending its focus on character development and positive reinforcement. The Coordinator of the Samarpan Club appreciated the dedicated efforts of the teachers in charge, Ms. Dhivya and Ms. Anagha, and extended heartfelt thanks to the Principal and staff for their continuous support in bringing this meaningful initiative to life.
