The vibrant festival of Diwali was joyfully celebrated at Indian School Sohar with great enthusiasm and splendour by students from Classes KG to XII. The celebration commenced with a school prayer song, creating a divine and peaceful atmosphere.
Inspiring thoughts on Diwali were shared by the students, expressing the spiritual significance and cultural beauty of the festival. A beautiful song on Diwali was sung to showcase the pride and glory of this auspicious occasion.
A wonderful and enlightening skit was performed, which touched every heart and spread the message of goodness, light, and unity. The Assistant Vice Principal’s motivating speech on the essence of festive lights was greatly appreciated by all. The Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma extended warm Diwali wishes to the staff and students, encouraging them to celebrate safely and lead a prosperous life.
The programme was further adorned by colourful and graceful dance performances, marking the joyful spirit of lights. The spectacular diya dance, symbolizing hope and positivity, highlighted the entire event. A vibrant fashion show was also presented, where students showcased elegant traditional attire, reflecting the rich theme of the festival of Diwali.
The celebration concluded with a radiant atmosphere of happiness, leaving everyone filled with festive cheer and positivity.
