08-12-2025

“Learning by doing sparks curiosity and creativity.”

Bagless Day was celebrated on 13th November 2025 for Classes III to V, transforming the learning environment into a vibrant space filled with creativity, exploration, and joyful engagement. The day was enriched with hands-on, art-integrated and interdisciplinary activities that promoted curiosity, teamwork, and practical understanding beyond textbooks.

Class III: Exploring the Universe

Class III students embarked on an exciting journey into space with the theme Exploring the Universe.” They crafted face masks representing planets, stars, the Sun, and the Moon. Each student confidently presented interesting facts about their chosen celestial body through English first-person introductions and the Hindi activity मैं कौन हूँ?”

Mathematics came alive as students created a planet number line, practiced basic operations, and designed bar graphs and pictographs. EVS learning became interactive through a lively Musical Universe Hunt,” where students answered space-related questions.

Class IV:  Making of a Saving Jar

Class IV students participated in the financial activity Making a Saving Jar.” Using recycled containers, they designed creative jars and named them as Dream Jar, Vacation Vault, and Future Fund, reflecting their financial aspirations. Mathematics learning was strengthened through a fun Billing Game, budgeting tasks, and calculating totals and balance money.

In EVS, students explored the concept of 3Rs—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and expressed their ideas through impactful posters. English storytelling through If My Jar Could Talk and Hindi presentations titled Sapno Ki Gullak helped them beautifully express the importance of saving and mindful uses of resources.

Class V: Flavours Without Fire

Class V students showcased teamwork and creativity through Flavours Without Fire,” preparing simple yet delicious recipes such as sandwiches, salads, nut balls, and lemonade. They documented the steps involved in preparation of recipes in both English and Hindi while reflecting on hygiene, nutrition, and food science concepts.

Social Science learning included exploring regional dishes and the value of community sharing, while Math skills were reinforced through measuring ingredients, estimating quantities, applying ratios, and calculating cost.

The enthusiasm and hard work of students and teachers were greatly appreciated by the Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, and Section Supervisor, Dr. Alka Singh. Their encouraging words acknowledged the thoughtful planning, creativity, and active participation that made Bagless Day a memorable learning experience for all.
