09-12-2025

“Stories are the magical doorway that help children dream, imagine, and discover the world in their own unique way.”

To nurture the love for reading and to encourage young learners to express themselves confidently, Indian School Sohar conducted the English Storytelling Competition for Classes I and II on the 2nd and 3rd of December 2025 respectively. The event was organized under the guidance of the Supervisor, Ms. Chitra.

The competition aimed to build confidence, enhance communication skills, and strengthen verbal creativity among students. The little storytellers came prepared with engaging tales, using expressive voice modulation, gestures, and clear pronunciation to bring their stories to life. Each participant presented a meaningful moral, inspiring their peers with values such as honesty, kindness, courage, and hard work.
