19-12-2025

The Women’s Handball Club in North Al Batinah, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, organized a handball competition for girls, during which Indian School Sohar was invited to present a cultural programme.

The students showcased a vibrant and energetic Garba dance that captivated the audience. The performance was mesmerizing and received wide appreciation for its grace, rhythm, and cultural richness. The traditional Garba steps, colorful costumes, lively music, synchronized movements, and energetic expressions of the students showcased their dedication and thorough preparation. Overall, the Garba dance created an atmosphere of joy and celebration, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

The programme was coordinated under the able guidance of Ms. Alpa Thakkar, Ms. Paridhi, and Ms. Dishita Dave. The event beautifully reflected collaboration, cross-cultural exchange, and the mutual learning among students from diverse backgrounds.

Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma was specially felicitated and appreciated during the event for her cooperation and collaboration. Through cultural exchange and shared experiences, strong ties of friendship were formed and further strengthened.

Indian School Sohar is highly grateful for this opportunity and extends our sincere thanks to Dr. Fatima Al-Fazari, Director of the Women’s Sports Activities Department.
