Indian School Sohar marked a proud moment as its Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma, received Merit Certificates on behalf of the school at the 38th CBSE Gulf Sahodaya Principals’ Conference 2025–26, held in Kochi from 3rd to 6th January 2026.
The merit certificates recognised the excellent academic performance of Nitin Kisore and Aditya Sajeev, who secured third position in the Science stream (Grade XII Batch 2025), Oman Chapter.
Merit certificates for Sporting Excellence were also received for Yashaswini Jain and Blessy Vinod Jeeba for winning the Bronze Medal at the CBSE National Girls U-17 Cricket Tournament.
The conference was graced by Padma Shri awardee and renowned Paralympic athlete Ms. Deepa Malik as Chief Guest, with Mr. Jay Prakash Chaturvedi, CBSE Affiliation Director, in attendance. The three-day event brought together 106 principals from six Gulf countries, promoting collaboration and excellence in education.
