A workshop titled “Introduction to Psychological First Aid” was conducted at the College of Medicine & Health Sciences, National University, Sohar on 2nd June 2025. It was organized by the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science in collaboration with the Community Engagement Office.
The session, facilitated by a team of experts, focused on equipping participants with basic skills to offer psychological support during crises. The workshop was interactive, with discussions, role plays, and practical demonstrations.
Ms. Anu Sonia Vincent and Ms. Ziyana Sama from the Indian School Sohar attended the workshop. The session was informative and relevant, especially for those working with children and adolescents in school settings.
