“Neat handwriting is not just a skill; it is the reflection of patience, practice, and personality.”
The English Department of Indian School Sohar organised an English Handwriting Competition for students of Classes III to V with the objective of fostering the art of cursive writing and motivating students to develop neat, legible, and graceful handwriting.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students showcasing their talent through elegant writing. Judging was based on neatness, legibility, consistency in letter size and spacing, spelling, and punctuation. The young participants impressed the judges with their dedication and skill, making the task of selecting winners truly challenging.
The event was conducted under the guidance of the Head of Department, Ms. Divya Johari, and Section Supervisor, Ms. Alka Singh. Teachers of Classes III–V provided continuous encouragement and practice to help students refine their writing skills.
The Principal, Vice-Principal, Section Supervisor and the Head of the English Department congratulated all participants for their commendable performance. The competition served as a platform to inspire students to value handwriting as both a skill and an art, reflecting individuality and discipline.
