Indian School Sohar participated in the CBSE Oman Cluster Table Tennis Tournament held at Indian School Muscat on 24th & 25th August 2025. The school teams and individual players put up an exceptional performance, winning multiple medals across the categories.
Individual Championships
U-19 Girls: Pallavi Das – Winner

U-17 Boys: Rishabh Rakesh – Runner-up

U-19 Girls’ Team: Pallavi Das, Praggnya Velmani
U-19 Boys’ Team: Kaarthik Jalal, Vaibhav Kumar, Parmeshwaran Sankarnarayana
U-17 Boys’ Team: Rishabh Rakesh, Parth Hemal Mandalaywala, Kabeer Shah
U-14 Boys’ Team: Taksheel P. Patel, Samarath Gowda, Krish Bhardraj, Reyansh Singh
This commendable medal tally reflects the hard work, determination, and sporting spirit of the students.
A special acknowledgment goes to Coach Mr. Nikhil More, whose expert coaching and guidance were instrumental in the team’s success. Adding to the pride, Pallavi Das, Shubhreet Saini, Ipsita Singh, Rida Tamkeen and Rishabh Rakesh, have qualified to participate in the CBSE National Table Tennis Championship 2025-26, scheduled to be held at L.P. Savani Academy, Vesu, Surat, Gujarat, India.
The President, Members of the School Management Committee, Principal, staff, and students congratulated the winners and participants for bringing laurels to the school.
