AMBASSADOR’S SCHOOLYMPIC 2026

Indian School Sohar athletes showcased their talent at the Ambassador’s Schoolympic 2026, organized by the Board of Directors, Sultanate of Oman to promote sporting excellence among the students of Indian Schools in Oman on 10 & 11 April 2026. The event witnessed the participation of over 3000 students representing all Indian schools across the Sultanate, making it one of the largest inter school sporting events in the region.

The event was successfully hosted across multiple venues, including Indian School Al Seeb, Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir, Indian School Bousher, and Indian School Muscat, ensuring wide accessibility and participation across different regions conducted the core objectives of fostering sportsmanship, inclusivity and healthy competition among students of all age groups, It encouraged young minds to step beyond classrooms and discover their potential in the field.

Indian School Sohar participated in Athletics (Boys & Girls), Basketball (Boys & Girls), Football (Boys) and Throwball (Girls). The athletes displayed remarkable skill and determination, securing medals in Athletics & Basketball.

The Chief Guest, His Excellency Shri G. V. Srinivas, Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman, graciously presented the prizes to the winners.

The Medal Winners:

Under 15 Boys: Silver medal: 400m - Rehaan Abdullah, Triple jump - Shivansh Tripathi

Under 15 Girls: Bronze medal: 4X100m Relay - Ayona Sinu, Ahida Fathima Afseer, Eshal Fathima, Ann Riya

Under 13 Boys: Bronze medal: Basketball - Mohammed Mohthashim Ahmed (Captain), Venkiteswaran Sankarnarayanan, Ehaan Biswas, Aritra Diger, Ashmit Rastogi, Adarsh Sathish Shakar, Abhimanyu Maghesh, Azmin Muhammed

4X100m Relay - Henry Vilphy, Reno M, Mohammed Ayaan, Abdul Basit Ansari

The President, Members of the School Management Committee, Principal, staff, and students extended their heartfelt congratulations to the medal winners for bringing laurels to the school through their dedication and perseverance.
