Sri Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with sheer enthusiasm at Indian School Sohar. The celebration began with the offering of flowers to Lord Krishna by Principal Mrs. Sanchita Verma. A few verses from the Holy Bhagwad Gita were recited by Shriniket and translated to English by Harsh Veer Singh. A fabulous and outstanding dance was performed by the students of class IV A. The Principal addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of discipline. The winners of Hindi Declamation and Mathematical Operations Using Models Competitions were awarded certificates by the Supervisor Mrs. Alka Singh. The programme executed under the guidance of the Vice Principal Dr. Vinu Kumar was appreciated well. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
