The Inter-House Mathematics Quiz Competition for Classes IX to XII was conducted with great enthusiasm and participation. The preliminary round, held on 27th April 2026, witnessed the participation of more than 230 students. Following a challenging selection process, 16 students qualified for the grand finale held on 12th May 2026. Each of the four houses—Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow—was represented by students from Classes IX, X, XI, and XII. The event aimed to foster healthy competition, logical thinking, teamwork, and a deeper interest in Mathematics among students.
The Assistant Vice Principal and Head of the Mathematics Department, Ms. Indira Sukumaran, welcomed the gathering and highlighted that Mathematics is not merely about numbers, but also about logic, creativity, and critical thinking. She appreciated the enthusiastic participation of students and extended her best wishes to all the finalists.
The programme was compered by Samannya Kola, who introduced the panel members: Quiz Masters Mr. Rohit Kale and Ms. Aysha Hanaan; Scorekeepers Mr. Bijo Joseph and Mr. Dinesh Sharma; Moderator Mr. Roopendra Sharma and Timekeepers Abrar Anwar, Kovid Pant, and Dharmik Kumar Rijo A.M. He also presented an overview of the quiz format.
The competition comprised four engaging rounds — Sequence and Series Round, Rapid Fire (Online) Round, Activity Round, and Mixed Bag (Buzzer) Round. An interactive Audience Round added excitement to the event, allowing students to participate enthusiastically and win prizes.
Principal, Ms. Sanchita Verma addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of knowledge, curiosity, and teamwork. She encouraged students to strive for excellence and appreciated the efforts of the teachers in organizing such an enriching and intellectually stimulating event.
The quiz competition proved to be a grand success, promoting quick thinking, collaboration, and a spirit of healthy competition among students. Green House emerged as the winner and lifted the rolling trophy, while Blue House secured the runner-up position. The Principal congratulated all participants and applauded the dedicated efforts of the Head of the Mathematics Department, Ms. Indira Sukumaran, along with the organizing teachers, Mr. Roopendra Sharma, Mr. Bijo Joseph, and Mr. Dinesh Sharma for the smooth and successful conduct of the event.
Ms. Indira Sukumaran expressed her sincere appreciation to all the teachers and team members for their dedicated efforts in making the event a grand success.
