Principal Mrs. Sanchita Varma of Indian School Sohar conducted an orientation session for the students of Class IX on 25 May 2026. The session aimed at familiarising students with the assessment structure and various academic components for the academic session.
Students were oriented about R3 and guided regarding the expectations and requirements of different subjects under internal assessment. Detailed information was also provided on Arts Education, Physical Education and Well-being, Interdisciplinary Area, CT& AI and other important modules included in the curriculum.
During the session, students were encouraged to maintain a balanced approach towards academics, co-curricular activities, and overall well-being. The importance of regular participation, discipline, skill development, and holistic learning was highlighted. The interactive session helped students gain clarity about the curriculum framework and assessment process, enabling them to prepare themselves more confidently for the academic year ahead.
