The Physical Education Department of Indian School Sohar successfully conducted the Junior Inter-House Sports Competitions for students of Classes VI to VIII on 20th April and 4th May 2026. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow Houses, creating a vibrant and spirited sporting atmosphere across the school campus.
The competitions included a wide range of indoor and outdoor games such as Badminton, Handball, Football, Cricket, Basketball and Table Tennis. Students displayed excellent sporting skills, teamwork, discipline and determination throughout the matches, reflecting the true essence of healthy competition.
The event began with a pledge of fair play, encouraging all participants to uphold honesty, respect, and sportsmanship during the competitions. Cheerful support from fellow students and house members added excitement and motivation for the participants.
The Inter-House Sports Competitions provided students with an excellent platform to enhance their physical fitness, confidence, leadership qualities, resilience, and cooperative spirit. The successful conduct of the event once again highlighted the school’s dedication to holistic education and the overall development of every learner through sports and physical activities.
