Students of Indian School Sohar demonstrated outstanding academic excellence during the academic year 2025–26 through their active participation in various Olympiads conducted by the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). Their exceptional performances brought laurels to the school, with several students securing medals and certificates in the International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO), International English Olympiad (IEO), National Science Olympiad (NSO), International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO), International Social Studies Olympiad (ISSO), International Hindi Olympiad (IHO), International Commerce Olympiad (ICO) and International Computer Science Olympiad (ICSO).
To recognize and celebrate these achievements, a Special Assembly was organized on June 8, 2026. The occasion honoured the students for their remarkable accomplishments and acknowledged the dedication, perseverance, and hard work, they displayed in their academic endeavors.
Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma congratulated the achievers and expressed her pride in their success. She commended the students for their determination and commitment, which have contributed significantly to enhancing the school’s reputation for academic excellence.
On the occasion, the Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma was presented with a Letter of Appreciation in recognition of her exemplary contribution to education, visionary leadership, and innovative academic initiatives. Additionally, Indira Sukumaran, Assistant Vice Principal and SOF Coordinator received an Appreciation Certificate for her foresight, leadership, and efficient coordination of SOF Olympiads within the school.
SOF Coordinator, Ms. Indira Sukumaran congratulated the students on their outstanding achievements and commended the dedicated efforts of the teachers-in-charge.
